Good luck to all the golfers on Thursday, who are participating in the first Paul McKinney Charity Golf Outing & The Tour sponsored by Under Armour, in Ocean City MD. Proceeds will fund a college scholarship in Paul’s name to high school athletes enrolled in The Junior Tour.
The season for the Summertime Shufflers is winding down . It’s been a super fun league and I hope some players join the winter league! We will have our crab picnic in the next few weeks.

The Ladies of the Knights is sponsoring a picnic for the kids and their Moms from St. Ann’s Center for Children, Youth & Families, on Wednesday, July 29th. We will serve them food, play games and they will have splash time in the pool!
The Bread for Our Brothers ministry that the Council has sponsored for more than 25 years needs additional drivers for the program to continue. Work involves picking up boxes of donated bread from Bakery DeFrance in Rockville and delivering them to 2 or 3 specific charities in the District or suburban Maryland. Time commitment is 3 hours once or twice per month on either a Tuesday or Wednesday. This ministry is not restricted to K-ofC members only, and any family members or friends who might be willing to participate are welcome.
