A message from the Ladies

Happy Summer
Ladies, Hopefully you are getting some Sunshine and Rest or Enjoying picnics and vacations with the family. While enjoying the family is great, some time for yourself is also needed. We have some great ideas for the Fall and are in the planning stages now. We meet at 10:00am and our meetings are only an hour. From our TOOTSIE ROLL CHAIRMAN:
The Tootsie Roll Program is dedicated to providing life-based heath care, learning, and quality of life opportunities for children, teens and adults with disabilities. Remember the first principle of Knights of Columbus – Charity. We will have collection points this fall starting with the University of Maryland
games on September 5, 19, 26, October 17, 31, November 14 and 28. We will be working just prior to the game in the parking lot. We will meet at the clubhouse about an hour and a half before game time, riding together to the stadium. We are looking into other opportunities – church, grocery stores, etc. Ideas are welcome! I will get a list of brothers that are willing to interact to further our charity causes. Please give me a call with your availability! I will be contacting brothers to elicit interest. This not only aids our charity program, the visibility of the drive fosters good will in the community towards Knights of Columbus. We re not restricted to using just Knights. Your family members are welcome to also participate. This is a good way for students to earn their service hours for school!
