Hi there everybody!! I’m hoping you had a wonderful and relaxing (ha) Thanksgiving with family and friends!! And boom! just like that, I see Christmas tree’s on top of SUV’s racing down the road.
The Clubhouse is looking very festive thanks to Teresa Gorman, Derek Bell, Joe Scafone and the Lintner’s for decorating last Sunday! There are a few events comping up, so read on! The Ladies of the Knights is sponsoring a movie night this Saturday, December 2nd for the kids. Might be a good time to drop them off and try to get some of your shopping done! Please see the attached flyer for all the details.
Sunday is our monthly BRUNCH! From 11:00 am – 1:00 pm. All you can eat! Pancakes, hash browns, scrambled eggs, gravy and biscuits, fruit, French toast sticks, etc. SO GOOD!! $10 per individual $20 if you want to add endless Bloody Mary or Mimosa bar. Commanders play the Dolphins at 1:00 pm on Sunday. (YES, we do still care……lol) Shuffleboard continues on Tuesday and Thursday nights. Every Wednesday (like today) a Blind Pig shuffleboard tournament is happening at 7:00 pm. It’s a very fun, non-committal way to learn the game, or just practice! Blind Pig ? you ask….it just means teams are picked, you do not know who your partner is. Fun way to meet people! Clubhouse Christmas Open House is Sunday, December 10th. The Clubhouse will have main dishes, ham, turkey etc. to share. Please feel free to bring a favorite side, or maybe an experimental side and see how it goes….hahahaha Starts at 2:00 pm. Taco Tuesday is the 12th. Breakfast with Santa is December 17th. More details later. Looking for a place to have a party? The room downstairs has the restored bar from the old building on Route 1 and is the perfect size for Christmas parties, retirement parties, birthday parties, graduation parties, anniversary parties, Sweet 16’s and Bar Mitzvah’s!
