| | | | | | | Hello there everybody! I hope you’re having a great day! I’m still over the top from that fantastic Washington Football Team win on Sunday! A few “happenings” to share: A big thanks go everyone who donated food items and gift cards to St. Joseph’s Pantry so they can prepare 70 Thanksgiving baskets to those in need. The Tootsie Roll Program will have their last University of Maryland push this Saturday, the 20th. Please call director Joe Odum at 410-579-4774 to get the specifics. Lots of action going on Sunday! * Washington Football Team plays at 1:00 pm. *During the same time we will have our annual Chili Cook off! Your chili can be brought in a crock pot, or we can keep it warm. Grated cheese and corn muffins will be served along with the chili. The categories will be best tasting, most creative and the tongue burner. Tasting and voting will be at half time. * The Elves Workshop will be set for the children from 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm. During the Elves Workshop the kids will have the chance to make a gift that they can give to someone at Christmas time! The annual Memorial Mass is Monday, November 22nd at 7:00 pm. Don’t forget your Cash Incentive Raffle tickets!! Is your company thinking about a Holiday party this year? Please think about your Council Home! Call 301-345-4076 and ask about available dates. The Council is once again conduction a Coats for Kids program. With the cold weather right around the corner, there are many local kids in need of warm coats. Please consider donating to this worthy cause. You can drop off a cash donation at the bar, or purchase a new and leave it at the Clubhouse. A case of coats is $240.00. Friday night’s dinner special is STEAK NIGHT! with baked potato, asparagus / vegetable and dessert – all for $20.00! Please pre-order here:https://tinyurl.com/bpaxufw
