A big thank you to everyone that participated in the POINT 1 K fundraiser for the Maryland Special Olympics! We had over 40 participants and raised $1700.00!! Wow! T-shirts will be sold at the bar to raise more money! THANK YOU for your generosity!!
The Shuffleboard League has started and everyone is having a great time. The games are Tuesday and Thursday evenings and last about an hour. Thursday night really could use another team – we’re not even, and nobody likes to play “the bye”. Please consider playing this really fun game, plus it gets you out of the house for a while!
Our K of C 2809 annual crab feast is Sunday, October 3rd from 2 – 5 pm. Tickets are at the bar. Please see the attached flyer for all the details. Can’t wait! YUM

Attention Brother Knights, are you still a first or second degree member? Now is y our chance to advance to third degree status! Supreme has re-written the degree ceremony, combining the three degrees into one (30) minute ceremony. The Council will be hosting it’s first exemplification under the new format on Monday, September 27th, at 7:30 pm. (just prior to our officers meeting). Please RSVP to Grand Knight Dave Alessandrini if you would like to attend: davedrini@yahoo.com. Family members are welcome to attend the exemplification.
