Thank you to everyone who participated in the annual Point 1 K event last Saturday!  Over $900 was collected for the Maryland Special Olympics!!  Wow – that’s just awesome – thanks again, and thanks to all who helped co-ordinate it!  
Saturday night is Bar Bingo (shotgun bingo) starts at 7:30 pm.  The Queen of Hearts is pulled right before it – cost is only $1 per ticket for the Queen of Hearts.  super fun!   The K of C 2809 Annual Crab Feast is Sunday, October 2nd starting at 2:00 pm.  Enjoy AUCE steamed crabs, Pit Beef,  green beans, hot dogs, sauerkraut,  corn on the cob, crab soup, rolls, butter, vinegar and canned beer and soda all for $65.  Tickets on sale at the bar.   You know what will make this day even more special?  Watching the Commanders romp all over those Cowboys!  Questions?  Please email back or call Mary Fran at 301-335-3106.   “Bar Update As you may have noticed, another section of the bar resurfacing project was completed. If anyone has any small Knights of Columbus momentos, such as pins, medals, jewels, etc., and would like to donate them to the project, we would love to use them to fill ‘dead space’ for the upcoming sections. Take a look at the corners of the current sections to see what we are talking about (we inlaid KOC emblems, state  convention pins, and officer jewels). Please note- any item donated may be permanently encased in the bar, and are not recoverable.
