| | | | Hello there everybody!  I hope you had an enjoyable Labor Day Weekend and didn’t have to work too much!  lol   We had super fun here at the Knights!  The pool was packed, the grove was grooving, and the snack bar was…..slammed!  Huge big thanks to Rich Little for manning the snack bar all summer, and to his beautiful wife Julie Little for letting him!  And thanks to Bill Judd for spinning the tunes all weekend, it was awesome!  Congratulations to the St. Mary’s Softball Team who are the 2022 Champions!  The team was in the loser bracket, so they needed to beat St. Joseph’s twice to win – and they did!  Great games all weekend long, big thanks to all the players and we can’t wait to see you again next year!   Would love it if we could get one more team so there isn’t a bye – start talking to your friends!   Tommy Clark was the winner of the K of C 2809 cornhole boards that were made and donated by Greg Little (thank you very much Greg)!  We raised over $650 for our general upkeep fund.  Thanks to everyone who bought a chance!   Congratulations to Paul McKinney and Uncle Tommy who won the Cornhole Tournament!   As we close the pool season we can’t thank GK Tim Keifline and his lovely wife Susan for all their hard work getting the pool ready for the season, maintaining it all summer long, and managing the life guards.  We appreciate all that you do!   And big thanks to the wonderful, hardworking lifeguards who did a tremendous job this year!   Big news – TOMORROW NIGHT (Friday) we will have the GRASSO BROS. BAND playing in the pavilion starting at 7:00 pm.  Please bring a chair, the clubhouse will be open to purchase beverages and food.  The Friday night special is Italian Cold Cut using 3 Bros. sub roll, chips and 3 Bros. Cannoli for $15.  This is a perfect meal to take with you to the pavilion!  Please pre-order using this code:  or you can place your order by calling the Clubhouse at 301-345-4076 anytime after 4:00 pm. today.  The band starts at 7:00 pm tomorrow.    We will be “passing a hat” for donations please.  Maybe we’ll be lucky and our own PGK Pat Macy may play a song or two, too!   More congratulations go out to Joe Ervin as the Knight of the Month and to Tom & Lisa Chestlo as the Family of the Month.  Colleen Smith is the “woman behind the man”  THANK YOU all so much for your time and energy helping out with whatever is needed!  We appreciate you!!   Bar Bingo Saturday evening, starting at 7:30 pm.  This is sometimes called Shotgun Bingo.  Come on up!   The Jaguars play the Commanders this Sunday at 1:00 pm.  We’ll have food specials, it’ll be a fun day, hope to see you!  Next week shuffleboard starts!
