| | | Hello there everybody! Can’t believe we’re in the last week of July! UGH! Summer is going too fast! Congratulations to the new Grand Knight of PG Council 2809 – Paul Wood and his wonderful wife Ingrid. And congratulations to the incoming offers: Deputy GK John Foley and his adorable wife Stacey, Chancellor, Mike Smith and his sweet wife Colleen and Warden, Tom Chestlo and his delightful wife Lisa. We thank them for becoming an officer, and hope this is a fantastic year for all! Thanks to outgoing PGK Tim Keifline and is lovely wife Susan for all their contributions to make this Council the best! Bar Bingo resumes Saturday evening at 7:30 pm. Queen of Hearts is pulled right before.
Some “happenings” coming up, so get your calendar! Taco Tuesday – August 8th $1.50 beef or chicken with a fixins bar including fresh chips! 1st Washington Commanders pre-season game – August 11th 7:30 pm Red Cross Blood Drive – August 14th. Shuffleboard League meeting – August 15th Guest bartenders, St. Jerome’s softball team – August 19th Family camping & festivities September 1 – 4 PG Council 2809 Annual Crab Feast – September 17th Cornhole tournament sponsored by “Hit it Weird” softball team – October 28th weekend. Still looking for sand for the volleyball court. Or any suggestions on how to make it “a court” new net arriving soon. Please see the attached SHARE program flyer sponsored by Catholic Charities.
