| | | Hello there everybody! I hope you’re staying dry! Big thanks to all the adults who “partied on” Saturday and big thanks to the Totoro Band – they were awesome! So much fun! The Aquaknight Swim Team had their Mini Meet last Sunday and the kids did great! Prince George’s Council represented well! Thanks to all the parent volunteers who work so hard to make this meet super fun for the 10 and under swimmers! Divisionals are this Saturday, good luck Aquaknights! Congratulations to Paul Wood who is the new Grand Knight for Council 2809! The Installation of Officers is this Saturday, July 22nd at Holy Redeemer in College Park. The celebration will be at the Clubhouse after the Mass. As a reminder the Clubhouse will be closed Saturday to anyone not attending the Installation. Bar Bingo will resume next Saturday, the 29th. Do you know we have a collection box for used prescription glasses at the Clubhouse? We are collecting for the Lions Club International. Go clean out some drawers! lol I know you’ve heard of Christmas in July – what about Thanksgiving in July? Yep, that’s what our Friday night dinner is going to be! Roasted turkey, stuffing, green bean casserole, cranberry sauce and a surprise dessert – all for $20. If possible please pre-order here: https://tinyurl.com/5x4tsjuz We’ve sold out of dinners the past 2 weeks, so pre-ordering is the only way to guarantee a dinner. We have some retro candy in the snack bar – pixie sticks, candy rings and candy necklaces. Who doesn’t have fond memories of eating those off of your sweaty neck in the middle of July? hahaha Looking for some sand for the volleyball court – anyone have a connection?
