Thank you to PGK Doug Amann and Rich Little for coming out last week to help with the pool and grounds clean up. We will be at the Pool & Grove again this Saturday, April 29 to clean up and get ready for the summer season. Feel free to come by the Pool between 10am and 2pm. Bring a pair of work gloves and your drive to get things ready for the season. We will start cleaning the bathrooms, cleaning the snack bar, preparing the pool area for opening, clean the kids sandbox, general grounds cleanup. Thank you! Cinco de Mayo is on Friday, May 5th. I hope you can celebrate at the Clubhouse! Look forward to some yummy food & drink specials! Saturday, May 6th is “The Run for the Roses”, the Kentucky Derby, The most exciting two minutes in sports! The Clubhouse will be offering drink specials, some betting fun, and a prize for the favorite hat! So get your creative juices flowing – we’ll see you on the 6th! May 8th is the Red Cross Blood Drive with the Lions Club offering free hearing & vision testing. There is a Lions Club box at the Clubhouse collecting no longer used prescription eyeglasses. Please, no eyeglass cases. Taco Tuesday is May 9th. Please see the attached flyer from the Grand Knight, Tim Keifline, about a shrimp and bull roast. I can’t think of much else, see you soon!
