Hello there everybody!   I hope everyone is doing well!  Whatcha going to do with that extra day we gain tomorrow?  I hope you have the opportunity to treat it like a present and do whatever you want!   I apologize, but I am WAY BEHIND in congratulating our monthly Knights!   In January the Knight of the Month was Tom Gildea, and the Family of the Month was John and Stacey Foley!  THANK YOU So much for everything you do for our Council!!  February Knight of the Month is Joe Odum, and the Family of the Month is Jimmy and Mary Fran Lintner and the Woman of the Month is Krista Humphrey!  You all ROCK and we’re very thankful for all that you do!   Huge thank you to all who supported the Ladies Auxiliary and purchased the DELICIOUS spaghetti dinner last Sunday!  55 dinners were sold, WOW!!  THANK YOU!    We have lots more events coming up – I really hope you can make it to at least one of them!   Sunday, March 10th is our annual St. Patrick’s Day Party (please see attached flyer).  Super fun day with delicious food and a silent auction!  $5 Guinness! Festive music too!  The fun starts at 2:00 pm. This for sure will get you “in the spirit”.  Saturday, March 16th the Sean Fleming Band will be entertaining us, sponsored by the Irish American Club.  All tickets must be purchased by March 9th.  Please see the attached flyer.   Sunday, March 17th – St Patrick’s Day – the Clubhouse will be opening at at 2:00 pm and the Devaney Brothers will play their sweet acoustic sounds from 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm.  The Clubhouse will be serving food specials and a limited bar – food menu.  Drink specials throughout the day.   Friday, April 5th, the Clubhouse is sponsoring a Bull and Oyster Roast, catered by Pit Boys in Annapolis.  ALL proceeds will go to the swimming pool!  I can’t believe it, but it’s that time! We need to think about the multiple supplies and equipment needed to open the pool Memorial Day Weekend!  (which is right around the corner)    Please bring your friends and family and spread the word!   See the attached flyer.  Please purchase tickets at the Clubhouse or give Mary Fran a text at 301-335-3106 for any questions.  Bar Bingo is Saturday, March 2nd with the Queen of Hearts being pulled at “half time”.  Queen of Hearts is over $3400.00!!  YOWZA!  Tickets can be purchased throughout the week from your friendly bartender.  Last weeks’ 50/50  winner took home $125.00 !!!     As always, we truly appreciate your support.  I hope you get to do whatever you want with the extra day tomorrow!  Have a safe and dry rest of your week and we’ll see you soon!
