Hello everybody!    All the snow is gone from our house, what about yours?  Small gray/black mushy piles are left in the parking lot at the Clubhouse, but it’s basically just a memory now.  Come on Spring!   A Quarter Auction will be held Saturday, February 8th to benefit the Aquaknight Swim Team!  Please see the attached flyer.  Super fun time for the whole family!  I hope you can make it and support the team.   The Superbowl is Sunday, February 9th and the Clubhouse will have food and drink specials throughout the day!  Doors opening at 2:00 pm.  Stop by for a yummy sandwich and get in a few pools!  Always a great day (would be greater if the Commanders were in it – just sayin’ )   Who you rooting for?  Saturday, February 22nd the Irish American Club is sponsoring a Mardi Gras Party at the Clubhouse,  Please see that flyer for the 411.   Tony M Shuffleboard Tournament:  February 1st  10:00 amBlood Drive:  Monday, February 10thTaco Tuesday : February 11th  Valentine’s Day:  February 14thSt. Nick’s Softball Team guest bartender and cook:  Friday, February 21st.Wacky wing Wednesday:  February 26th The Friday night dinner special is Pork Chops, Au Gratin potatoes, Veggie and dessert for $15.00  If possible, please pre-order here:  https://tinyurl.com/zfsmh97x That’s about it for Clubhouse happenings.   Let’s keep the families that were affected by the horrible plane and helicopter crash that happened last night.  It’s just so sad.   Please keep in your prayers the family of John B. “Jack” Joynt who passed away earlier this week.  Jack and his wife Mille were staples at the pool with their 5 children.  Jack would volunteer at the old Clubhouse (on Route 1) and when the new Clubhouse was built he volunteered bartending or anything else that was needed.  A few years back his kids purchased a tile for the bar, with his name on it, and surprised him for his 90th birthday.   Jack was a very kind and brotherly gentle man who made friends wherever he was.  Jack will be sorely missed.  Stay well, hope to see you soon!          KofC Clubhouse kofcclub@aol.com
