| | | Hello there everybody! Was it a peaceful, on the couch kind of New Years for you? Or did you get together with friends and family and party the end of 2023? Whichever way you celebrated, I hope 2024 brings you happiness! Shuffleboard starts up for the Thursday night league tomorrow, and will be a full league next week. The Tony M is slotted for February 3rd. Blind Pig every Wednesday evening, starting at 7:00 pm. The Friday night dinner special is Shepard’s Pie with a surprise dessert for $15. Please pre-order here: http://tinyurl.com/4zv4jc39 Saturday night will be a fun night with Bar Bingo starting at 7:30 pm, Queen of Hearts pulled during “1/2 time” and Holy Redeemer Softball Team will be the guest bartenders! Clubhouse opens at 5:00 pm. I hope you get a chance to “check it out”! Sunday the 7th the Commanders (it’s almost over……………..) play at 4:25. There will not be a brunch. Taco Tuesday – January 9th. Blood Drive February 12th. Don’t forget your Super Bowl squares, you’ll wanna get em soon before they sell out! We are very sad to learn that Don McVearry has passed away. Don was a past Grand Knight (twice), Board member, played shuffleboard and a huge supporter of Council 2809. Don and his wife Phyllis had 4 sons all who swam on the swim team, and a few played in the softball league with their Dad. Please keep his family in your prayers. Don will be sorely missed. Arrangements:Saturday 01/13/2024 viewing 12:30 pm – 1:00 pm following the funeral at 1:00 pm. Our Lady of Angels Catholic Church Chapel, 711 Maiden Choice Ln, Catonsville, MD 21228.
