| | | | Hello there everybody!  Happy Cinco de Mayo!  The Clubhouse is celebrating with food specials and of course Margarita’s and Modelo on tap!  We will be offering a Mexican Pizza for $10 and house made salsa and chips for $5.  A few flavors of Margarita’s too, just ask the friendly bartender!  Clubhouse opens at 4:00 and the kitchen opens at 6:00 pm.  Hope to see you there!      Also tonight – Shuffleboard Championship – Tuesday night represented by Tim Keifline and Jimmy Lintner vs. Thursday night represented by Nanny and Doug Amann.  GO THURSDAY!  lol  Competition starts at 7:00 pm.  Best out of 5 games!   Also tonight – CAPS, CAPS, CAPS playoff game 7:00 pm. and blind pig darts start at 7:00 too.  WOW  –  it’s a happening Thursday for sure!   Friday night’s dinner special is Spaghetti with meat sauce, garden salad with Italian dressing, garlic bread and a surprise dessert – all for $15.00 !  Please pre-order here:   tinyurl.com/2p9bbuk7
Have you noticed our Blessed Mother in front of the Clubhouse has been restored?  She is beautiful!  There will be a dedication and Rosary service, Wednesday May 25th at 7:00 pm hosted by Fr. Rob from St. Joseph’s.   The Food Drive for the St. Joseph’s pantry is ending May 14th.  Please drop your canned goods and gift cards in the box inside the Clubhouse before the 14th, thank you!   Fraternal Benefits Night is Tuesday, May 24th.  Please see the attached flyer.  Special THANK YOU to John and Emily Foley and Mike and Pat Moone for their help this week on the pool and grounds. Mike and Pat Moone have spent alot of time on the grotto area and it looks amazing. Thank you!! We will have another clean up on Saturday, May 14 and Saturday, May 21 from 10-2. You do not have to volunteer the whole day, but if you are available for even an hour during one of those times we would greatly appreciate any help. We will be repairing & painting picnic tables, power  washing the pool and other areas, cleaning pool chairs, weeding, preparing the snack bar. If you have any extra flowers that can be used in some of the beds around the snack bar/pool area we greatly appreciate that. Also have you seen the parking lot? It looks great,  doesn’t it? Big thank you to Mark McKnew for painting the curb, light poles and gates.   The Aquaknight swim team is getting ready for a fun summer and we need swimmers!  Please keep an eye out for a registration meet and greet happening soon.  But if you want to get an idea for your calendar:  Practice will most likely start June 6th in the evening.  First swim meet will be Saturday, June 18th.   Our Mini Meet will be July 17th.  Divisionals are July 23rd (playoffs) and the All Star meet is the 30th.    NEEDED:  Softball players for the men’s summer league.  Interested?  Please give Steve O’Shaughnessy a call at 410-688-3067.  thank you!!    I wish you a very happy Mother’s Day and hope you have a great week!  See ya!
