Hello there everybody, boy what a warm day!  Kinda gets you thinking about summer….and the pool…and the swim team…..and softball………and grillin’ in the grove……..ahhhhh, can’t wait!!   Hard to believe it’s already March – let the shenanigans begin!  lol   The Clubhouse is having a St. Patrick’s Day party on Sunday, March 13th starting at 2:00 pm.  We’ll be serving Irish fare along with some cold beer and festive music!  A silent auction will be held too!  Come on up for the fun, no RSVP needed!   On St Patrick’s Day, March 17th, we will be serving the usual Irish fare too, hope to see you!   Taco Tuesday is March 8th.  $1.50 per taco, beef or chicken, soft or hard shell with a fixin’s bar and fresh house made chips.  Kitchen opens at 6:00 pm.   This Friday is our first Friday of Lent and we will be offering a Fish Fry!   Fresh fried fish and house made fries with a special dessert.  $15.  Kitchen opens at 6:00.  If possible, please pre-order here: https://tinyurl.com/5n765u7z   We continue to have virtual trivia pursuit on Tuesday evenings, along with shuffleboard.  Thursday evenings there is shuffleboard and drop-in darts.  Super fun, come on up!   And speaking of shuffleboard…….BIG CONGRATULATIONS to THURSDAY NIGHT for spanking the Tuesday night shuffleboard teams!!  The Tony M Memorial shuffleboard tournament was held last Saturday and Tuesday night didn’t have a chance!!  Thanks to everyone that came out to play!!   Last Saturday was a blast with the Our Lady of Sorrow’s softball team as the guest bartenders!  Our next team is Holy Redeemer and they’ll be serving up drinks on the 19th. hope to see you there!   A few messages from our Grand Knight Dave Allesandrini:  Worthy Brothers,  Brother Ken Petralia, father of Brother Knight Vincent Petralia, died on Sunday, February 27, 2022.He was 70. He was a first degree member.He leaves behind a widow, Carolyn Petralia.Ken’s viewing will be this Sunday, March 6, 2022 from 2 – 4 pm at Collins Funeral Home in Silver Spring. His Funeral Mass will be on Wednesday, March 9 at 9 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Beltsville.
Tyler Carter’s viewing and memorial service will be held on Sunday afternoon.  The viewing will be from 1-3, and the memorial service will begin at 3:00.  All will be held at Beall Funeral Home, 6512 Crain Highway, in Bowie MD.Dress code is casual and your jerseys, if you want. Peggy and Mandy thank everyone for their love and support, it has been the most amazing thing.  Tyler was loved by so many amazing people.
