Hello there everybody! And just like that…it’s the end of February!
Last Saturday was super fun at the Mardi Gras party sponsored by the Irish American Club! PGK Pat Macy did an amazing job opening up for the Swampoodle band! And the band was just as fantastic! Each table had a “float” to decorate (a box) and the imagination of the party goers was hysterical! Personally, the ocean motif float was good, but the Czan table had a true Mardi Gras theme going on – with Barbies….and beads….it was so…entertaining! lol Big thanks to GK John Foley and PGK Steve O’Shaughnessy for cookin’ up the Po’ Boys and for their sons, Liam and Luke who delivered the food! Stacey Foley did a great job working the bar and Chris Lynch put the whole thing together – THANK YOU!! The Friday night dinner special is Chicken Parmesan. So what’s happening in March at the Clubhouse? Lemme tell you! ……… Tuesday, March 4th is FAT TUESDAY and we’re going all out with a breakfast buffet for dinner! $10 all you can eat!! Starts at 6:00 pm. Ash Wednesday is the 5th, which is the first day of Lent. The Clubhouse will be offering meatless meals every Friday night. Bar Bingo and the Queen of Hearts will continue every Saturday evening starting at 7:30 pm. And yes, the Queen is still hiding! There will be a “Super Duper” Bingo on Saturday, March 22nd (double the fun)! . Sunday, March 9th is the Clubhouse St. Paddy’s Day Party! Great day to visit with old friends and make some new ones! Please see the attached flyer for all the info. Taco Tuesday is March 11th – mark your calendar for this fan favorite! We will continue to celebrate St Patrick’s Day with the Sean Fleming band on Saturday, March 15th. Please see that flyer. Also on the 15th, our Grand Knight John Foley and his Council of Men will be the guest bartenders/cooks. All gratuity will go towards the St. Joseph’s Youth Group Mission Trip. Congratulations to PGK Joe Cole who won the members pool a few weeks ago – he is now about $600 richer! Did you sign the book this week?
