| | | Hello there everybody! What a perfect day to stay in the sweats, on the couch, remote in hand and some hot tea brewing……………….. The Clubhouse was closed last night, which was Taco Tuesday! but don’t worry, we’ll do it NEXT Tuesday the 18th! YUM Thanks to all who came out and donated blood last Monday! It is much appreciated! Another thank you to everyone who came to the Clubhouse for the Superbowl game! And big thanks to everyone who made the day so fun! The food was AMAZING – thanks to Patrick Macy, PGK, Stephen O’Shaughnessy PGK, John Foley, GK and Mike “Smitty” Smith, DGK. Matt O’Hare PGK as the bartender extraordinaire and Marie Bohorfoush, and her husband Walter for all their hard work selling the pools! It was a suiper fun day even though the game wasn’t……. On Saturday we had the Quarter Auction to raise funds for the Clubhouse / Pool and it was a great turn out! Participants were leaving with all kinds of swag! Michael Kors, Disney, Scentsy, Vera Bradley, Pamper Chef and so on and so on! It was AWESOME! Big thanks to Noreen Burns and Val Cole for all their hard work in making this a perfect event! Everyone had a great time and I hope we get to do another one this summer! hint, hint Lots more events coming up soon….I hope you can join in on a few! Saturday, February 15th – Ladies Auxiliary Meeting 10:00 am Clubhouse. Friday, February 21st – St. Nick’s softball team guest bartending and cooking! London Broil, Potatoes and vegetables with a surprise dessert. I will have the pre-order code in the next Happenings. Saturday, February 22nd – Irish American Club sponsoring a Mardi Gras Party! Please see the attached flyer. Our own PGK Pat Macy is opening up for the band Swampoodle! Starts at 6:00 pm. Get your tickets soon! Sunday, February 23rd – Ladies of the Knights Spaghetti Dinner. Starts at 3:00 pm. Please see attached flyer. Tuesday, March 4th – Fat Tuesday Clubhouse specials announced soon.Sunday, March 9th – St. Patrick’s Day celebration party, please see attached flyer.
This Friday the 14th is Valentine’s Day and we have prepared a succulent menu for all of you who forgot to make reservations somewhere else! Valentine’s filet, crab cake, roasted red potatoes, veggie and dessert for $25.00 Please pre-order here: https://tinyurl.com/2ydrw2t5 Oh, and don’t forget, Bar bingo on Saturday along with the Queen of Hearts at halftime – Nope – she still hasn’t been found!
