| | | Hi all!  I hope you’re having a super great week!  A few fun events happening at the Club this month – read on!   First I’d like to congratulate Joe Scafone as the November Knight of the Month!  Joe is a true volunteer, will help anyone out at anytime!  No questions asked.   He is a master of “all things”  whether he’s cooking in the kitchen or helping with the outdoor movie night!  For years he’s been working the swim meets during the summer, even though he does not have any children on the team!  Joe is very special and we’re lucky to have him as a Knight at this Council. The Family of the Month is Bryan & Rhonda Adamczyk.   Bryan is Council 2809’s financial secretary.   Thank you all for everything you do for Council 2809!!   The Friday night dinner special is Filet with Crab Cake, asparagus and potatoes and a surprise dessert for $25.00.  Please pre-order here:  Online Survey Software | Qualtrics Survey Solutions

We have a super busy and fun Saturday planned!  Starting at 2:00 will be a Quarter Auction benefitting the Aquaknight Swim Team!  Please see the attached flyer.  2 Taco’s and a soda will also be offered during the auction for $5!    This is definitely a family friendly event, we hope you plan to attend with the kids and help support the swim team!  Also Saturday night is bar bingo and the search for that Queen of Hearts continues!   The excitement starts at 7:00 pm.  Sunday is another fun filled day – with food!    The Clubhouse will be serving brunch from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm.  Fresh fruit, bacon, sausage, waffles, French toast, home fries, scrambled eggs!  Plus you can add on AUCD Mimosa’s or Bloody Mary’s!!   Stop by after Church. Sunday is also the Chili Cook Off!  The cost is only $5 to submit your most delicious chili and you could win bragging rights for a year, prizes and cash!  Don’t have a winning chili recipe, but love to eat?  $5 let’s you be a judge!  The judging will start at halftime of the Commanders – Cowboys game.  Prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place (by most votes).  Please bring your rivaling chili already prepared, preferably in a crock pot.  Good luck!   Thanksgiving eve will be another Wacky Wing Wednesday!  Fresh wings, sauced or rubbed by our own Grand Knight, John Foley!   Multiple sauces offered too!  $6 a pound.  You gotta try them!   Kitchen opens at 6:00 pm.   We ask for prayers and caring thoughts for our member, Paul McKenney.   The family has also organized a gofundme page to help Paul has he fights CJD.  You will remember Paul as a dedicated member and volunteer with Council 2809, he also volunteers at Branchville Firehouse and is our Santa Claus every year, stopping by the Clubhouse to visit all the kids.  He played softball and you could easily find him beating someone in cornhole.   That’s all I have for now, have a great week and we really hope to see you this weekend!
