Greetings all!  Are you staying cool?  If not – get to the pool!  We only have a few days left .  Remember the pool doesn’t open until 4:00 pm until Saturday.  Hope to see you there!   There is going to be an impromptu party Sunday night!  For you old-timers, remember the 15 (or so) luau’s?   Well, something like that!   We’re calling it an adult “Back to School” party!   Anyone who wears their / a school shirt will only pay a $15 entry fee.  If no shirt, then it’s $20.   Upper pavilion, starting around 8:00 pm.  House smoked pulled pork sliders, lots of sides, dancing, fun games,  BYOB (please remember no glass), it’ll be a fun way to end the summer.   Please bring your friends.  and maybe an outdoor chair.   Through some chatter at the pool, it sounds like there may be a few tents in the Morley Grove this weekend. ???  We may have a free t-shirt for all of you fun people!  (still looking for the shirts…….) the bathrooms will be open, the fire pit is ready for some marshmallows and maybe a guitar player?   It’s a Double Bar Bingo Saturday!  (more games)  to celebrate Labor Day Weekend – oh and guess what?  Nobody hit the Queen of Hearts last week – SO IT”S STILL OUT THERE!  Plus two other cash cards!  We’re over $10,000 right now – you’ll wanna get your ticket for sure!  Fun starts at 7:30 pm.   A few notes from our Grand Knight, John Foley: ⛪ Msgr. Bazan is continuing to improve! He is back to wearing his black shirt and collar, attending Mass, and eating in the dining room. What a comeback; that is evidence that these prayers we have been sending are working. Keep them coming!
⚾ Labor Day weekend is coming up. We will have family activities and games on Sunday, Sept 1st., probably starting at around noon. Bill Judd will be spinning tunes.  Come on up with the family, watch the softball tourney, and get some grill action in because Summer is about over!  We will hold a Mass in the Marian Grotto at 9:00 AM on 9/1, with breakfast served afterwards. 🏃The .1k is on 9/21 at 12:00PM. 🏎️ The Mustang and Fast Ford car show is 10/5. Come on up and observe some awesome cars! Fun fact- I found out the other day that car people do not like driving their rides in the rain because they don’t want to spend the hours cleaning the undercarriage! 2024 .1K – KOFC 2809
