Hello there everybody! Boy, I never realized January actually had 47 days in it! Luckily, we’re getting to the end.
Lots of fun stuff planned at the Clubhouse! Get your calendar out! From the Seniors Club: Happy New Year ! For the first Meeting of 2024, we will meet in the Clubroom at 12:00 Noon on Wednesday, January 31st. Lunch will be “Brown Bag” ! Sodas will be available at the bar and dessert will be provided by the Club. If enough folks will play, we’ll have some bingo games after lunch. We will decide on February’s Meeting (my vote is for Potluck), and we’ll pray for an EARLY spring ! ! ! Hope to see you ALL there ! ! ! Attached is February’s SHARE menu. The Friday night dinner special is Spaghetti! Spaghetti with meat sauce, garden salad with Italian dressing, garlic bread and a surprise dessert for $15. If possible, please pre-order here to ensure your order! http://tinyurl.com/3p6eh7mz The Tony M shuffleboard tournament is this Saturday, February 3rd! What is this you ask? It’s a competition between the Tuesday night league and the Thursday night league to see who is the better half! The games start at 10:00 am and will go to about 2:00 pm. stop by and root for Thursday night – oops, I mean your favorite night! Thee will be a cake walk too! Super fun. The Clubhouse will be open Sunday the 4th for the Pee Wee bowl or whatever it’s called. We’ll open at 2:30 pm for a few hours. Stop on by, get on some pools and relax a little, or maybe grab a bite to eat. The Superbowl is February 11th and the Clubhouse will be serving a tremendous menu. Historically the kitchen has served food representing the two teams, so this year will be something Kansas Cityish, and San Franciscoyum! (hopefully more than rice-a-roni) hahahaha. I do not know the menu yet, but it’ll be delish! The Clubhouse will open at 1:00 pm that day. The kitchen will open at 2:00 pm. Hope to see you there. Red Cross Blood Drive is Monday, February 12th. Ash Wednesday is on Valentine’s Day this year, February 14th, so Shrove Tuesday is the 13th, usually Taco Tuesday. The Clubhouse is planning a breakfast – for – dinner buffet on the 13th for $10, and celebrate everything that is Fat Tuesday. Beads anyone??? Taco Tuesday will be moved to the 20th. The Golf League will start on Wednesday nights in the Clubhouse. Interested in playing? Please see a friendly bartender for the 411. The Ladies of the Knights is having a Spaghetti Dinner on Sunday, February 25th. More information soon. Upcoming events: March 10th – The Clubhouse celebration for St. Patrick’s Day!
