Hello everybody! I hope everyone had a fun and safe Labor Day Weekend! I know we had a blast at the pool! So much fun catching up with old friends and making new!
Big thanks to John Foley and Tim Keifline for organizing the games! I LOVE the egg toss! Slippery watermelon is fun too! The amazing hero of the weekend (well, all summer really) is Rich Little in the snack bar!! We cannot thank Rich enough for all of his volunteer time and effort flipping those burgers, scooping the ice cream and everything in between! Big thanks to his side kick Doug Amann for always helping out in need! We can’t leave out their lovely wifes, Julie Little and Nannette Amann for letting us “have them” every Sunday! THANK YOU!! St. Mary’s Softball Team is our 2023 Champions! It was a great tournament, St. Mary’s had to beat Council twice for this esteemed honor, and they did!! See you all next Memorial Day!
The adults have ONE LAST TIME to enjoy the pool – this Saturday! Please see the attached flyer for all the details about the Adult Party Saturday, hope to see you there! Live music too! We have lots and lots of events coming up! Please see the attached for more information about: The Grasso Bros. band playing in the Clubhouse Friday, Sept. 15th.The POINT 1K on Saturday, September 16th to benefit Maryland Special OlympicsCouncil 2809 Annual Crab Feast Sept. 17th at 2:00 pm.!! Always a fantastic time, great crabs, cold beer, fun friends! Doesn’t get any better than that!! Get your tickets soon! The Shuffleboard League is starting next Tuesday the 12th (also Taco Tuesday). We have league games on Tuesday and Thursday and need some players! Please consider grabbing your BFF one evening a week and come out to play! It’s fun and easy and a little competitive too!
